Chinks From China

The Prequal To Gangsters In Love:
When Carlos returns home from a short holiday he finds a strange txt message embedded in his phone. Its from a man calling himself 'Agent Ashworth' and although a stranger, Carlos feels compelled to meet with him, not realising that by doing so his entire life will change forever! And so starts the third and final Carlos adventure and the concluding part of The Blacked-Up Bastard Trilogy!

The Blacked-Up Bastard Trilogy:
Chinks From China was shot on 21st April 2007 and is by far the longest short film we've ever produced. The crew and I filmed for close to 7 hours resulting in a 24-minute mini-epic the likes of which GoreCartoons haven't produced since GiL. The film does alot for GoreCartoons image but one thing that it really pushes is our unusual cartoon-like visual style. We've seen it before during past productions but never this good and certainly never on this scale. Looking back the editing of the movie could have been a little better but there was a reason it was all slightly rushed, the meeting of my fiancee Emma Thompson (whom acted as make-up artist on the film). Rushed or not I feel Chinks From China was still the perfect way to conclude The Blacked-Up Bastard Trilogy, the biggest short film series GoreCartoons has ever produced! Enjoy!
