Spy VS Spy
Story:
In June 2007 I was approuched to shoot some second-unit based extras for a high-profile feature film
being shot by a Middlesbrough-based film company in Prague. The film stars Robert Carlyle and Ving Rhames
and focuses on 40 of the worlds greatest assassins, all duking it out for the 10 million dollar prize fund.
My job was to shoots CCTV-like footage of extras running around and killing each other, for use in a scene
somewhere in the main movie.
Re-Release (04.12.2008):
Spy VS Spy was re-released towards the end of 2008 as part of our 'Regeneration Week'. The original
footage was pulled from tape and re-edited with an all-original soundtrack by alternative rock band
I:Scintilla. New footage was also shot featuring blood dripping down a wall in order to give the film a bit
more of a sadistic feel. Unlike the original, this final version mixes both colourful and slightly tramatic
images together in order to pull of a very unusal visual style. Better than the original? Just a bit ;)
